It is an excellent question. However it is a question that is not meant to be answered here through this specific Messenger being.
You see, all consciousness, the universe and everything (and beyond) is quite vast. Attempting to cover it all or to know about it all would be overwhelming.
On this platform, We have shared messages about being, self-empowerment, personal mastery, self-love, etc. While it is true We have pointed out various symptoms related to natural or energetic events from time to time, it was specifically as (self) teaching points. To make you realize the interconnectedness between everything, to make you see or grasp that life or being is so much more than what you have been brought up to believe.
We wanted you to know that not everything you feel is yours. Having knowledge of that fact is quite important for you to be and let be.
You could say that Ascension is outside the Messenger's Department or Jurisdiction. She sensed that when she received the question. She was torn between the duty to answer and the alignment of her soul. The requester truly deserves an answer, just not through her.
It takes courage to say no to something you know you can very well do, but that is in misalignment with your being.
* If the requester sits with Us for a moment in quiet space, he or she will be guided towards the answer. The sitting time is to set things in motion if you will. All that person needs to do is be open to all the infinite ways that exist for that answer to appear it whatever form is best for that person to receive.
Part of being is knowing what is embedded in your soul and recognizing when something is not. Embarking on anything that falls outside your soul path - be it studying a spiritual modality (because someone else said you should), attempting to teach a technique (that is serving you well, but somehow is only meant for you to practice), working on a great project (to give someone you love a hand, while sensing it's not really in you), and so on actually stops you from being, blocks your flow.
Even though time is an illusion, there are only so many hours in your day. Use that time wisely. To be. To flow. To grow. To love. To laugh. To enjoy life. To serve...
Just to be clear, the Messenger is not about to quit her day job "to be". First of all, she already is being while fulfilling all her worldly duties. In addition, her learning to be in her own time allows her to ebb and flow in a very stressful and demanding work environment. But because she made that commitment of being, being at work has been quite extraordinary.
Taking care of your responsibilities and obligations is part of being. Yet, when you are, performing these earthly chores feel like waltzing... even scrubbing the toilet.
We know you are here to help and to serve. And that a lot of you willingly agree to (almost) all requests that come your way, even when it impedes on your being. Putting yourself last is never a good idea.
Being is about flowing. When you flow, things pretty much get done by themselves through your being.
It is okay to say no to a request. Those of you who are here to serve find it quite challenging to say no. You often fear disappointing others or yourself. You tend to be afraid that if you refuse a request, a client, a project... the universe will put you on its naughty list and the well will dry up.
Are you tending to the right fountain?
If you do indeed say yes to (almost) everything, how does that feel? When your plate is overflowing, do you actually get anything done? Or you do you simply spend all of your time making sure nothing falls off the said plate? It is rather hard to be anything when you try so hard to please everybody, while constantly saying no to your being.
Remember that for all the requests you say no to because they are not in alignment with your soul purpose, there are actually plenty of people whose being was meant to fulfill them.
By saying no to something that is misaligned with your purpose, you are not only supporting yourself as a being, ensuring your flow, you are also giving others the chance to be themselves, to fulfill their own soul purpose of being.
When people come to you for help, and you grasp you are not the right fit for their need, you may not always know who can give them what they need, but often, you have an idea where to guide them. Showing others the way is good for the flow of life.
People may come to you because of the personal work you have been doing. You know that there is a multitude of paths leading beings to the ultimate destination. Thank them for their trust, then be true to yourself and to them.
If you sense your two souls are aligned, let them walk with you for as long as you are meant to, otherwise, inform them of other possible routes, direct them to potential guides if you know any.
You cannot be everything to everybody. However, you can be everything that you are.
Let this message sit with you for a while.
We simply want you to understand why/that We rarely give you want you want, but rather give you what your being needs.
