Looking for a Sign?

Note: We are well aware that this could be a controversial post. As we have written before: Go inwards to confirm what is going on outwards, not the other way around. There seems to be an addiction or obsession to outwards signs (and sign readers) brought on by the current energy. We simply want to bring to your attention this surge of "outwardness" so you can be aware of it, in the hopes it helps you in your daily life.

In these uncertain times, it is accurate to say that people are looking - often outwards - for signs of all kinds: hope, security, stability, love... Either by themselves or through others. Many are seeking sign readers or books on the subject to receive outward signs about where to do, what to do and sometimes, who to follow (!?)...

Now signs and symbols have always existed and been relied upon. It has been part of human life since the very beginning. The "science of signs" has been going in and out of fashion through the centuries.  Because of the prevailing energy, it is very much in high fashion right now.

With the current energies, events and emotions running high at this time, we believe it may be wise to rely more and more on your instincts and less and less on these outward signs.

If there is generalized confusion, everyone and everything is affected. For everything is connected. It may be difficult to know whether the sign reader you are seeking has worked on balance, grounding, centering.

As much as she dislikes being mentioned here, the Messenger has noticed how much more grounding (through intent, connection with nature, food...), rest, meditation and so on She has been needing these past few weeks, and how these usually natural acts require more effort lately. She sees how everything seems to take a lot more out of her in the recent weeks and is doing her best to adapt.

And as We have written here recently, keeping your head above the water seems to require more effort... For all. Experts of all kinds are humans too. Remember that. They are also going through the  shift and sometimes struggling as you are. And all of you are the same, equal. No matter your title, your position in life and any letters you have following your name (credentials).

If you have yet to "consult" your instinct on a regular basis, and are unsure about how to go about it, just quiet down. Even if you are in the middle of something, simply stop and do a quick scan. Listen not only to your heart, but also to your entire body and higher self. How does everything feel? If it is right for you or in alignment with you, the inner feeling should reflect that (everything simply feels good and is flowing, there is absolutely no heaviness or reluctance or paralysis).

And if you happen to notice an outward sign, you can take it into account, but your instincts should always prevail.

You see, we simply have noticed that when your world gets a little (or a lot) shaky, often you forget some of the things you know or that you have learned. And then you tend to go outwards a little too much for security or confirmation.

You are the only one who knows everything about who you are and what is going on with your life, so hold on to your power and listen to your heart, your body and your higher self first before listening to anything or anybody else - including everything you read here.

Signs are just that, signs. When you are driving on the highway, you see road signs constantly. If you follow them all, you may never get to your destination. They are just there to get your attention, to tell you where you are or give you hints of places to go in case they might be helpful to you. When you know exactly where you are going, you rely on them very rarely. Still, you always keep an eye out in case new roads have been built and the route has changed.

In your life, you are the boss, not the sign or the sign givers.

It is important to avoid relying on signs too much at this time because the prevailing energies/emotions may be skewing them - or you.

At this moment, signs - no matter where they come from  can be misleading. Or your situation may be so that you will make out "everything" to be a sign, simply because you need some kind of security or assurance. Remember that need is very high right now.

In the same vein, in the current energy it is very easy to make the wrong associations or simply to make some up. To see signs where there are none. Sometimes a bird flies in the sky or a squirrel crosses the road simply because it needs to get somewhere. Also, remember that when you see signs, they are about you. Even in your dreams, if you see someone or some thing, it is there to show you an element in them that relates to you.

As we have said above, it has to do with the current energy, emotion, intensity. Some elements that used to work (or be accurate or effective) do not anymore, or are far less effective (or accurate).

Remember that everything is affected by what is going on in your world - that includes sign givers and signs.

For example, on a very concrete level, economists and stock market experts are as lost as regular folks right now, when looking at the economy, debt, stock markets and so on. Yes, they can tell you what they think may happen based on their expertise, previous knowledge and maybe even personal interest, but there is way too much volatility to ensure accuracy. Some of them (experts) have recognized this.

Moreover, if you see 3 different stock market experts, chances are you will get 3 different answers/opinions based on their interpretation of the (same) signs they see.

It is perfectly OK to consult any expert you wish on any given area of your life. What you do with their advice is always up to you. Whether you listen to them or not is your choice. Whatever you do, make sure your heart/body/higher self is in agreement (as we wrote, you will feel light and have a general sense of well-being, confidence). If you feel any heaviness in the pit of your stomach, unease or "paralyzed" - assess the situation again or proceed with caution.

It may be their expert advice, but it is your life. When it comes to yourself, you know best. Their life will probably not be affected by the decision you made based on what they tell you, but your life will. Always remember that.

Lately, we have seen too many people give their power away to people with credentials of all kinds.

We simply feel it is important to remind you to hold on to your power. No matter how scary or chaotic the world around you appears. Nurture and maintain your power so it grows. The more you rely on your own power (inner signs) to live your life, the stronger it gets. The power to heal yourself, to make the decisions that are right for you, to shine your light on the world, to be, to love, to think for yourself.

Yes, there are numerous signs on the road of life, but you are your own map. Please follow it.
