Have Faith

Many things are being shaken up in your world: ever-increasing natural events and disasters creating havoc and panick in your life; structures, systems, companies that were once thought almighty or "immortal" are showing numerous signs of wear and tear. That situation is also creating fear in many.

Changes that were felt (ie that existed only in the realm of possibility) for so long are now becoming reality. And not only are they happening, but they are occurring faster than you had imagined and in ways or shapes that are quite surprising to you. A lot of you are in shock over the speed and the form of manifestation.

Deep down, you know that these changes are required, that they are for the greater good. Still, you are taken aback. In many ways, this is not always what you were expecting, and some of the events are shaking you at the core, shaking your faith in everything, including yourself.

For many of these events are bringing up more questions than answers it seems.

This is natural. I mean, as a teenager, you were probably dreaming of "freedom" - be it by going off to college or university, joining the army, starting a job or your own business. For months or years you fantasized about how it would be...

Tell me, when you actually got there, was it exactly the same as in your head? For some it was about the same, for others it was better, and for another group it was worse. Some of you realized the fears were unfounded, or that you actually missed your annoying younger sibling(s). And some of you wondered if you would make it - the reality was a lot harsher than in your imagination. It took you quite a while to ajust, to find your balance, your footing. While you had moments of great joy, you also experienced periods of darkness and doubt.

So you see, in many ways all the changes, disruptions and feelings are not new. What is new is the scale and speed at which everything is happening - both the "good" and the "bad".

In a way your world and yourself have graduated and are embarking on a beautiful new adventure. The thing is, the majority of your collective has forgotten that the school of life has hidden levels. And many of you had simply forgotten what you had signed up for individually and collectively long, long ago.

And as we have written before, you have the strength, the courage, the will, the power to face everything that presents itself to you. You may have blanked out the agreements and contracts you made before coming here, but when you signed on the dotted line, you knew you could handle it. It may not seem so, but you are more powerful and resourceful than you think. There are just many things to unlearn and new truths or realities to take in.

Many, many things will challenge your faith:
 - Physical and emotional experiences: suddenly being affected by solar flares, lunar eclipse and other natural occurrences (or realizing the cause of many unexplained ailments or ills that had been disrupting you all your life). Everything is growing more intense, this is why it is becoming more noticeable. And seeing how the events incapacitate you sometimes, it will make you wonder if you will ever adjust, learn to deal with your increased sensitivity. Yes you will! Give it time. Surrender to the experience. Go with the flow instead of swimming against the current.

- Spiritual events: Your eyes being wide open, seeing awe-inspiring beauty and life-changing truths. These bring you great joy. However you are also shocked by the crude ugliness now visible and that is difficult to look at. That, you were not necessarily expecting. Or maybe you just wished that as you grew more spiritual, as you awakened, that all that you would see and feel would be beautiful. Well, what you define as beautiful that is. The spectrum of life, in all its magnificence and its horror, is simply magnified as you awaken.

All your experiences are enhanced. And no matter where you go, light and dark exist... coexist, always. To fully appreciate the warm heat of sunshine, one must experience the cold rain that chills you to the bone. That rain may not always be pleasant, but without it, how would the plants, the trees and the wild animals live, how would all the bodies of water replenish themselves?

Still, a great number of those things you see with your new eyes will make you question many, many things. Stay centered, grounded and you will see how this new vision can help you be a better, more compassionate, loving and understanding individual.

- Social/Societal events: Dictatorships being brought down by the people, unsustainble systems showing signs of weakenss and crumbling. While some of these events are joyous, as people are being freed in a way, most of them are accompanied by uncertainty or doubt, even fear. The multitude is wondering what will happen next, what to do next...

This is only the 8th month of your year beginning. When you look back at everything that has happened so far in 2011, does 2010 feel like last year? Rather, does it not feel like ages ago, given the speed of life and the number of events?

The more things change, the more complex or sensitive relationships between "those who get it" and "those who don't" will become. And even among "those who get it", elements could prove challenging if the ego gets in the way.

Remember that no one is better than the other, each are all at different points in their own journey. Please withold any judgment, only the person living the situation knows everything about it and how it feels to him or her. If you want others to let you be, make your own decisions and mistakes (lessons), please allow them the same favour.

For the people who do not see these changes or who choose to stay blind to them will dig in their heels, swim against the current, throw tamper tantrums, do anything to keep things as they are. Let them be. It is their choice.  Any attempts to make them "see the light" will only aggravate them more.

Just love and support them the best you can. Let them follow the path they have chosen and learn the lessons they must acquire. Remember that you do not have to endure their fear or anger if they want to stay in it. Their choices need not incapacitate you. If you find their intensity is poking holes in your bubble, in your light body, find a way to leave the situation (end the conversation, hang up the phone, remember some other place you actually need to be) so you can have a break and they can just stay where they are in their journey or process whatever is happening to them.

How can we put this politely, many people - "enlightened" or not - will just need time be in their own shit. Alone. There are unpleasant feelings or ills many of you will go through, and all you can do is ride them through. Feel them, observe them (as in avoid getting "attached" to them so they can flush through and only stay with you as long as is needed). If you have no idea what we mean by this, you will know when it hits you, trust us.

You must take care of yourself and avoid energy depletion. Fear spreads like a virus, and if you hang around too much fear, well, chances are you will catch a cold.

No matter how things look or appear, have faith. Always look for the spark in the darkness. It may be faint, it may be barely visible - in yourself, in others - but it is there. As long as you are alive in your body, that amber, spark, flame or fire is always present. Always. Attend to it, and it will grow in size and strength and shine brighter and brighter.

Stay in your heart, you know what to do. And it is the ability to hold on to your faith, to your truth, to your gifts and convictions and let them grow in challenging times that is the mark of a true leader, of a beacon of light. For it is easy to rise up and keep the faith when times are easy and good, but it takes a strong character to rise up and hold on to that faith when times are rough.

And even if the only person you lead is yourself, your courage and determination will give others the strength to go on. By having faith in yourself, others and the world, you help others, give them hope and a sense of possibility just by being, by who you are and what you do. Never underestimate the great influence you can have on others by just being yourself. 

Stay strong. Have faith. As the saying goes, sometimes things need to get worse before they get better. Everything will be OK.
